SOCIAL COMMITTEE

Job Summary

The social committee plans and provides activities for the social needs of the church members

Job Duties

1. Carry on the social activities of:

A. Church fellowship dinners

B. Church outings such as swimming, camping, backpacking, canoeing, skiing, etc.

C. Special needs as designated by the church board

2. Plan any other social activities for the church membership of all age groups

3. Collect funds as necessary from those attending the activities to pay for the expenses of that activity and turn funds over to the church treasurer promptly

Job Relationships

The social committee is responsible to the social committee chairman. The social committee chairman is responsible to the church board. Note: Consider designating husband and wife team as committee members when both are church members.
